You fit the doorbell camera onto the door frame and connect the wires. As soon as somebody rings your bell, the image appears on the monitor inside.
You can see who rang the bell and then decide to open the door or not.
To talk to the person outside, pick up the receiver. If you have installed an electrical door lock, you can open the door by pressing a button on the monitor.
If you are using several monitors (optional) in your house (max. 3), you can use the monitors as an intercom system to communicate between rooms

The visitor rings the doorbell (the one connected to the camera). You hear a ding-dong. The picture and sound of the visitor is directly transferred onto the monitor. If you want to communicate with the visitor, you can pick up the receiver and talk to the visitor. If you have fitted an electric lock (available separately), you can open the door remotely.
You need to drill a hole in the door frame, at the height you want to mount the doorbell camera. Connect the wall bracket with the small doorbell camera to the frame with the screws. You then fit the monitor with the wall plate elsewhere in the house, e.g. in the hallway. You do need to place the monitor close to a wall socket. The cable from the doorbell camera can be connected to the extension cable and plugged into the monitor. Now you can see who’s at the door before you decide to open it. If you also fit an electric lock (available separately), you can open the door remotely.
