The Marmitek MicroModule AMM31 is an extremely small Marmitek X-10 appliance module which can be fitted behind any installed switch or outlet and is capable of controlling 2 different loads. The lights and appliances connected to the MicroModule can be controlled by X10 signals or you will be able to control it using a standard latching switch. The MicroModule uses one-way X-10 communication.
This module requires a neutral feed to it!

Very good for the money

Firstly, the instruction manual isn't the best for this module - perhaps because it's relatively new to the market. To program it:-
In AHP go to Appliances and select the Universal Appliance Module (UAM) and drag it to the room. Give it the desired house/unit code. Repeat this for the second module.
Now push the program button on the AMM32 until the led goes on on the module.
Now switch the first module ON in AHP and the second module ON in AHP. The led on the module goes out and the AMM32 is programmed.
It's a simple as that.
The unit is a bit bulky so make sure the back box is deep enough. However you can easily extend the control wires to the switch (for manual control) which I had to do. I use mine to switch on/off my central heating & hot water and with the addition of free software (on top of the activehome pro) you can easily control things via your android or iphone smartphone.
