Extensive timer with the possibility to control Marmitek X-10 modules from a distance by hand or automatically. Ideal for presence simulation: It seems like you are home. Switch 4 different modules per day. With one push on the button all lights will go on or off. With a built-in alarm clock.

Installation

Place a 9V block battery in the battery compartment on the underside of the timer. Plug the adapter into a wall socket. Set the HouseCode (A…P) by turning the dial on top of the unit using a screwdriver or coin.
N.B. If the battery is empty, the LED text “battery low” will light up

MANUAL CONTROL

Marmitek X-10 modules can be manually controlled by pressing the 1-5, 2-6, 3-7 and 4-8 buttons. Depending on the setting of the selector 1-4 <> 5-8, the ON/OFF buttons control modules 1 through 4 OR 5 through 8. Press the ON side of a button to activate a module. Press the OFF side of a button to deactivate a module. To dim a lamp connected to a Lamp Module, you must first press the ON side of the button with the same UnitCode as the module and then “Bright <> Dim”.

FAQS

Question: My device modules do not respond to the button ‘All Lights On’. Answer: This is perfectly normal. Only lamp modules will respond to the command ‘All Lights On.’ This is to ensure that in case of an alarm the coffee machine etc. are not switched on. The device modules do respond to the command ‘All Units Off’.

Question: My MiniTimer switches the wrong units.
Answer: Is the switch (1 ..4 / 5 .. 8] set to the wrong setting?

Question: The ‘battery low’ light is on.
Answer: The 9V backup battery in the MT10 is empty or absent.
