What an excellent, if expensive, X10 unit. It does all that it sets out to do. The manufacturers do not do themselves any favours with their instructions. Installation was very straightforward, with the added bouns of the unit fitting behind the switch and so avoiding the necessity of lifting floor boards, etc to gain accesss to the house wiring.
This is the only unit that I have been able to find that offers manual switching alongside X10 control. I use X10 for unattended working for security, but I also like to have the ability for manual intervention/override (just like a normal switch).
I just wish that they would produce a LM12 like unit with the same capabilities, but at a LM12 like price.
I had a little difficulty programming the unit initially to set up a unique house code etc., but a quick e-mail to Marmitek brought back a macro to do the job (why don't they include this in the CM15 release software in the first place?)
