Features
- Installs at the breaker panel/fuse box for X10 control of branch lighting circuits rated up to 700W.
- Controlled via X10 controllers or momentary action wall switches, including "designer" wall switches.
- Designed to operate with 230V lighting including mains halogen.
- Remembers its light level for smooth dimming.
The
DIN rail dimmer is a 700W receiver unit that works as a remote dimmer.
Mounted on the "Top Hat" DIN rail in the mains distribution box, it
dims or switches hardwired circuits with several wall switches (eg.
Living room lighting). It is designed to operate with 230V lighting
including mains halogen.
The
unit can be turned on/off, and brightened/dimmed either by an X10
controller or by external momentary action switches connected to
Terminal 2. It responds to "standard" X10 commands. ie. All-Lights-On,
All-Units-Off, On, Off, Bright and Dim. It also responds to extended
X10 commands. Combined with the memory dim feature, the LD10 can change
the room lighting instantly or progressively. This unit is especially
designed for scene lighting where very often the lighting is mains
powered 12V halogen, commonly used in living room, study/reading rooms.
The unit can be installed in sub-junction boxes for discrete control.
