The Opus 300 (octopus) Multi-Room Entertainment System is based on A-BUS technology and is distributed from a central point, to each room or zone where you require music by one run of CAT 5 network cable.

The difference between this kit and the normal one with keypads, is that it uses Active speakers which have all the electronics built into the back of them. In each room where you want you want music, you  install the Active speakers which are then controlled using a simple remote control. You can also control your source equipment like your CD player, Ipod, DVD, etc., by using their remote controls and pointing them at the ceiling speaker. The Opus system relays the IR signal back through the wiring to the relevant piece of equipment, so that you get the same functionality as if you were controlling whilst in front of it.

This bundle of equipment provides you with a full 4 zone Opus 300 system. This means that you can listen to a different audio source in 4 different rooms at the same time, or all the same source, or a mixture.
With the Opus 300, you have full audio control at your fingertips and with this system you avoid the mess and disruption of having to chase walls out to install keypads.
