Description
The Z-Wave appliance plug by TKBHome allows you to control any appliance, energy saving light or incandescent lighting up to 13 amps. It simple plugs into any UK plug socket and once associated into your Z-Wave network, will enable you with a suitable remote control or controller, to switch the item plugged into it on or off. It can also be controlled locally by the press of a button on the plug.

Easy to use, reliable and configurable

So far, I've 6 of these devices in my home, and about to get 2 more. They small, reliable, and easy to add to my Vera 3.
They've got a great little blue LED to indicate the status the of the switch, which can be configured to be either on or off when the device is switched on. The default is for the LED to be on, when the device is off. I prefer the other way round, so you simply set configuration byte 1 to a hex value of 1. Voila, the LED comes on when the device is on.

As others have already said they are smaller than previous units so allow 2 to be placed in one double socket which is very handed.

Purchased a couple of these along with a Vera 3 lite.
They are compact and easily paired with the Vera.
I'll be buying some more.

This device is actually smaller than it appears in the photo. You can even fit 2 of this side by side in a standard dual-socket pattress box with some space left to spare.
This is a great starter product. If you are unsure whether ZWave solution will work for you, get this plug and try it out. You will be amazed how easy it is to setup ZWave devices.
