Z-Wave Thermostatic Radiator Valve (TRV) from Popp
This TRV from Popp is very similar to the best selling Danfoss Radiator Valve, but has additional firmware from Popp meaning that this unit reports the room temperature back to your Z-Wave gateway.
It has the same quiet operation as the Danfoss stat, plus it's attractive looking and discreet.
Using a Z-Wave controller you can adjust your desired temperature using a smartphone, web application or a built in scene/script on the controller. The stat also has buttons to allow for local control of the set-point (which is reported back to your controller)
A small built-in LCD display on the device displays the target temperature on request. This radiator valve also has an internal scheduler, allowing you to set up to 9 setpoints which can be used across the 7 days of the week. This means the unit can be operated when the Z-wave controller is offline, or can be pre-programmed with a standard use pattern.
Further intelligent functions are an open window detection feature which drops the temperature back if the windows are detected to be open in the room. There is also a built in valve training function to ensure that your radiator valves are still operational after longer periods.
The device needs regular wireless connection to your Z-Wave controller to allow for internal clock updates and status message exchange.
