The Aeon Labs siren is a Z-Wave Plus siren with 5 built in sounds, and a flashing strobe light that illuminates on activation.

Usually a siren is designed as part of a security system, and is placed outside to deter break-ins and to alert nearby people to an intrusion. The Z-Wave Siren is different - it's been designed to use inside of your house, and it's 5 different alert tones can be used for different purposes, such as signalling motion at the door, a timer/warning, or an alarm/fire. You can control the siren from your Z-Wave gateway, and also associate it directly to a sensor/sensors to allow for instant alerting should your gateway fail.

The siren includes a built in battery with up to 3 hours of alerting, so can still activate if the power fails during an emergency.

The Aeotec siren has a European molded plug, but fits neatly into a Schucko plug adapter. We supply these free of charge with the siren, but if you're in Europe then please select the 'I don't need a plug adapter' option when adding to your cart and we won't send you one out.
