This PIR motion detector is the replacement for the popular Everspring SP103. It's been designed for indoor and outdoor use, and features Z-Wave Plus technology for superior battery life and range.

Up to 4 devices can be directly controlled from this device via Z-Wave associations, or you can use it in a more 'standard' configuration with your Z-Wave gateway (Fibaro, Vera, Smartthings, etc) as a motion detector to trigger alerts, scenes, etc.

The sensor is a battery-powered device, which is in sleeping state unless an action is detected. After a programmable sleeping time the device wakes up and sends a status information packet (with battery life and device info). After this the unit goes back to sleeping mode. Batteries can be changed without unscrewing the device from the wall or mounting point. The unit will give a visual warning on the device and sends a warning to the Z-Wave controller when the batteries need to be replaced. The unit offers a tamper control and sends an alarm message when tampered.

    Easy to interface with Samsung Smartthings - adapted Device Handler and published on github.
    Works well with Alexa routines too.
